Shipping Policy

Basicmicro ships to addresses throughout the United States and internationally. Below you'll find details about processing times, carriers, rates, and what to expect when your order ships.

Order Processing Times

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed. Processing times may vary depending on product availability and order volume.

Please note: Processing time is the time it takes to prepare your order for shipment. It does not include transit time from the carrier. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

Multiple Item Orders

We make every effort to ship all items in your order together. If a product is temporarily unavailable, we may ship available items first and send the remaining items when they become available at no additional shipping cost. We will notify you by email if your order needs to ship in multiple packages.

Backorders

If a product you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you with an estimated availability date. You may choose to wait for the item or cancel that portion of your order for a full refund. We will not charge for items until they are ready to ship.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

We ship within the United States using the following carriers:

UPS

  • UPS Ground: typically 3 to 7 business days transit time depending on destination
  • UPS 3 Day Select: guaranteed delivery within 3 business days
  • UPS 2nd Day Air: guaranteed delivery within 2 business days
  • UPS Next Day Air: guaranteed next business day delivery

UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. If your shipping address is a P.O. Box, please select USPS at checkout or provide a street address for UPS shipments.

USPS (United States Postal Service)

  • USPS Priority Mail: typically 2 to 4 business days
  • USPS First Class Mail: typically 3 to 5 business days (available for lightweight items)

USPS delivers to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO military addresses, and U.S. territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your selected carrier and service level, package weight, and destination. Exact rates are displayed before you complete your order so there are no surprises.

International Shipping

Basicmicro ships to many countries worldwide. International orders are shipped via UPS or USPS, depending on the destination and service availability.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product prices or shipping charges. Basicmicro has no control over these fees and cannot predict their exact amount.

We recommend contacting your local customs office for information about duties and taxes before placing an international order.

Delivery Times

International transit times vary by destination and selected shipping method. Typical delivery times range from 5 to 21 business days, though customs processing in the destination country may add additional time. Transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Restrictions

Some products may be subject to export restrictions under United States law. If an item in your order cannot be shipped to your country, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or issue a refund. Basicmicro is not responsible for packages that are held, seized, or returned by customs authorities.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to track your package. You can also check your order status by logging into your account on our website.

Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to appear in the carrier's system after we generate the shipping label. If your tracking number does not show any updates after 48 hours, please contact us and we will investigate.

Shipping Address Requirements

Important: Orders can only be shipped to the billing address on file with the credit card used at checkout. We are unable to ship to any other address.

Credit card payment processors require that all orders are shipped to the credit card's billing address. We cannot ship to a separate shipping address, an alternate location, or a third-party address. If the billing address on your card is not the address where you need the order delivered, please update your billing address with your card issuer before placing your order.

Orders placed with a shipping address that does not match the credit card billing address may be delayed or canceled.

Order Modifications

Once an order is placed, we are unable to change the shipping address or update address information on the order. If you need to ship to a different address, the order must be canceled and a new order placed with the corrected address.

To request an order cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. We can only cancel orders that have not yet shipped. Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, the order cannot be canceled or redirected.

Shipping Issues and Claims

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives with visible damage to the packaging or contents, please take photos of the damaged packaging and product before discarding anything. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos so we can file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund.

Lost Packages

If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, we recommend checking with neighbors and any alternate delivery locations. If the package cannot be located, contact us within 7 days and we will work with the carrier to investigate. We will file a claim on your behalf and, depending on the outcome, issue a replacement or refund.

Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order is missing items or you received the wrong product, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will ship the correct item at no additional cost and provide a prepaid return label if needed for any incorrect items.
