Occasionally the wife and I make a trip to her favorite store, Michael's Arts & Crafts. I was looking for some cheap Halloween decorations that I could add special effects to.
I found some really cool Halloween foam decorations. They were cheap and just what I was looking for. You had to assemble them. So with a little convincing at how she's better at that sort of stuff, my haunted house was assembled and ready to go the next day.
Now the fun part. I used 4pcs of the Starlite RGB (B0298), 4pcs of our servo extension cables , 1pcs of a 4 "AAA" battery box from Radio Shack and finally some double sided sticky tape. The thick foam kind. I think found 4 good places to locate my Starlite RGBs. I used the double sided sticky tape to secure them to the chosen locations. I then used servo extension cables to wire the Starlites. I cut the other ends and just hardwired them to the battery box. The battery box has a built in power switch which worked out perfectly. I also used double sided sticky tape to mount the battery box. I'm always amazed at the uses one can fine for double sided sticky tape. For the finish project, see the video below.
