Description

Have a need for speed ? Want more code space ? Virtually unlimited variable space ? Then the Basic ATOM Pro is it! The Basic ATOM Pro is based on the powerful 32 bit Renesas HD64F3694GFYV. It has 32K of Flash memory for your programs, 2K of ram which is enough space for 2000 byte sized variables and is programmable in BASIC, C or ASM. Assembly can be mixed with your BASIC or C programs.

The Basic ATOM Pro's 32 bit core and running at an average of 100,000 BASIC instructions per second leaves just about everything else in the dust!

The Basic ATOM Pro (BAP) at its core is a 32bit processor which gives it beter performance then just about anything else out there. The Basic ATOM Pro is programmable in our easy to use yet power BASIC and C programming languages. Access to lower level ASM is also offered and can be mixed in your BASIC or C program.

The Basic ATOM Pro is based on the popular Renesas H8Tiny microcontrollers. H8Tiny processors are used everywhere from your Sony Playstation to Lego's Mindstorm RCX brick.

    Notes:

The 100,000 average basic instructions per second was measured using every non-blocking Basic ATOM Pro command(no command that has a user definable delay) in a for-next loop run one million times.  This loop was timed and then the total number of instructions(1 million*commands in for-next loop) run were divided by the time(in seconds) to calculate the average basic instructions per second.
